Luigi Nono was born in Venice in 1924. He became one of what I call the "Silly Names Brigade". The title of this work is actually a long phrase in the Italian language, and I will not attempt to discover or explain its significance. To me this "no hay caminos" doesn't sound like music.

Grove describes it as "a major piece for full orchestra, written for seven instrumental groups".
