18.2 Zdeněk Fibich was born in the village of Všebořice, Bohemia, in 1850.

He left us three superb symphonies and two memorable string quartets as well as several incomparable concert melodramas.

Here is his quintet in D major for piano, clarinet, French horn, violin and cello, opus 42, from 1893
