Finally a new release this month from CPO....  Symphony no 4...with the  Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie

  :Bl****! I'd all but given up on them releasing any more (I've got Vols 1 & 2) and they've even recorded the one I would like them to record the most after symphonies 3 & 5!
(Apparently,they have a record of taking their time over such releases,so I suppose I shouldn't be so surprised?! ) Thanks for the good news,dhibbard,by the way! I won't be purchasing it right-away,though! (Unless I can flog something?!) Hopefully,I can eventually throw away all thos Plovdiv/Danacord recordings. (Not wanting to sound ungrateful,Danacord! But they did Louis Glass no favours!)

And Cpo have,obviously,taken my advice and issued a recording of the Louis Glass symphony I most wanted them to record after No's 3 & 5! (Actually,it's just a coincidence,but,as far as I could make out,from the absolutely dire (I wish I could say otherwise!) Plovdiv recordings,the one that the I would most like to hear in a decent,or,preferably,first rate recording (in excellent sound!).
