Ctirad Kohoutek was born in Zábřeh na Moravě in 1929.

Twelve-note serialism appealed to his systematic nature, and he used the technique in the chamber works of the late 1950s.

He gave us just one symphony (1962) and just one string quartet (1959), which may be downloaded from mediafire here:
