Edward Elgar was born at Broadheath, near Worcester, in 1857.

His abundant invention, largeness of vision, and strength and singularity of musical character place him high among European artists and at the peak of British music.

He gave us one piano quintet.

Piano Quintet, opus 84 (1919). There are three movements:

1. Moderato
2. Adagio
3. Andante / Allegro

It was performed by:

Movses Pogossian, violin
Anna Landauer, violin
Kim Kashkashian, viola
Michael Kaufman, cello
Tatevik Mokatsian, piano
