How about this interesting Israeli composer, who composes in a tonal style and whose compositions contain elements of minimalism and Arabian modal influences and are inspired by Sephardic folklore:

He composed plenty of orchestral music and many of his pieces can be heard on CDs you can order through the music foundation listed at the top of the "Discography" page Smiley.
