You will not be astonished to learn that I have that set too (as well as Neeme Järvi's and Gennady Rozhdestvensky's, but I agree that Serebrier is best overall).

I know you're not keen on ballet, but Raymonda (1897-98) has some great music in it as well. The Naxos set conducted by Anissimov is excellent.

While I'm not keen on ballet, there's a lot of ballet music that I like, including Raymonda (although I only have the suite, also conducted by Serebrier). It's all that prancing about that I can't abide!  Grin
