Old Albert certainly got around a bit: we could also be celebrating In the Mystic Land of Egypt, In the Moonlight, In the Shadow of St Paul's, In a Camp of Ancient Britons, By the Blue Hawaiian Waters, With the Roumanian Gypsies or Under the Fairy Lamps...


...perhaps thankfully, he didn't get round to In My Lady's Chamber.


Or if he did, he didn't immortalise it in An Orchestral Picture!

Shame really, he could have pioneered the revival of the oboe d'amore...
