This interesting German composer composed three "Metamorphosis Symphonies", the third of which has been commerically recorded on a Col Legno CD. It a substantial composition, at 54 minutes in length. I have also heard a 12-minute fragment from his Symphony no. 2 on YouTube. His style contains elements of Mahler, with surprisingly little dissonance for a 20th-century composer. His First Symphony, in D minor, dates from 1938 and his Second Symphony, in F minor, dates from 1951-52. So, does anyone have either (or both) of these two symphonies? They would be greatly appreciated :).
