I find the changes unattractive and disorienting as well.  I'll be accused of being negative, but nothing seems to really have been thought through.  I can see starting from scratch, and Albion (and Latvian) creating a new Forum reflecting their own designs and values, but just hacking away at what was a unified schema (however prolix) familiar to the established membership doesn't make me optimistic that group will be returning in any great numbers.

To a scatological way of thinking, perhaps.

I love the color! So much more alive than the previous drab color scheme!

DISCLAIMER: I didn't pick the color.

I should say more Burnt Sienna than Burnt Umber but what do I know, seeing as how I'm colour blind?!   ;)

Whatever it is, I agree with Latvian that the previous colour was insipid, whereas the new one is rich, to my mind.
