If by "posting" you mean uploading into the database here for download, I fully agree. I would post links to YT, if that is acceptable. The links are complete versions of commercially available works that are already on YT in fragmentary form. If not, then I simply will participate in discussions of whatever I find here.

I am afraid that the posted link from You Tube is the very thing to which members took exception if that link was to a commercially available cd. The reason for this was that what was being done was to explicitly "advertise" the opportunity to obtain the music at no personal cost.

As I said, we are not naive or stupid. We all know what is going on in the real world. Some of us, and that means the overwhelming majority of those who expressed a view on here last year, are unhappy about the situation.

However, it takes seconds to do a Search on You Tube and find whatever one wishes. If that is what people choose to do then that is entirely up to them. It is a matter of personal choice and should remain so.

If members decide to ditch our current policy then the situation will change :)
