Pianists may be aware of this Dutch composer, responsible for many teaching pieces, but he also wrote two piano concertos and a piano concertino. Are any members of the forum aware of any recordings, private or otherwise, of any of these works? I would appreciate any information about Hengeveld or his works and performances that members may have.

The composer recorded both his Piano Concertino (1946) and Piano Concerto (1957) with Omroporkest [Netherlands Radio Orchestra], under Henk Spruit and Herbert Soudant, respectively. As far as I know, these have not been released commercially. I am not sure if he wrote 2 piano concertos and a concertino, or if the concertino has been mistakenly counted as a concerto. The concertino dates from 1946 and some sources list the first concerto as from 1947. His Concerto (1957) appears to have been the one that won the ANV-Visser Neerlandia Prize in 1964. In the Wikipedia article on that prize, the work is described as "Concerto for Piano and Orchestra", not as Concerto No. 2 <https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/ANV-Visser_Neerlandia-prijs?oldid=41921138>. Perhaps someone else can shed light on this.
