This is one of my first orchestral pieces...It is very short - only couple of minutes long. Hope you enjoy it. Link should open spotify player on a web page. Please let me know if there are any problems.
Initially, I intended to write a series of biographical ‘incidents’ outlining significant events in my life. But then, it turned into an observation about the whole concept of self-image. Many of us are familiar with the story of Narcissus. The young man who saw his own reflection in the water and fell in love with it, not realising it was merely an image. Unable to leave the beauty of his reflection, he lost his will to live. He stared at his reflection until he died. We live, perhaps, in a age of narcissism. This is one of my first completed orchestral works. It ends with a de-constructed theme from Igor Stravinsky’s ‘Rite of Spring’.

It should open on a web page. You don't have to download it or anything. What happens when you click the link?

I didn't realise that. Apologies. Is it the same for Deezer?

Well, it just says "sign up" and "log in". I don't want to do that either, however much I'd love to see the long-haired guitarist.

Both should be totally free and easy to obtain. Otherwise there is no point. They both should opt up a free player on a webpage where you can listen to all or part of the performance. let me sort out another link.

Thanks for taking the time to find alternatives, Ian :) I promise to listen in, once they become available!
The peculiarities of Spotify's regional availability have been discussed in many online locations... primarily those connected with the 'unserved' parts of the globe ;)

It doesn't work for me, I fear.
I see a record cover, but nothing happens if I click on it.
I see the title "Narcissistic", but when I click on it, I just see a page saying "Anmelden" (which means "log in" in German).
I also see your name, and when I click on that I see you sitting on a box holding a guitar, next to the word "Subscribe" (in English).
I also see, below your name, a list of five "songs" (do they mean "pieces"?). When I click on one of these I see a small picture of a youth wearing boxing gloves - is that you too? - but still no music.
May I be permitted to make a polite suggestion? Drop those useless Americans and their illiterate "songs" and money-grubbing attitudes. Try to upload your work to ulozto. Here is a simple way to do that:
1) go to ulozto.net 2) click on "upload files" 3) click on the box "I'm not a robot", perform their simple verification task, and click on "send". 4) browse to select the file or files on your computer which you would like to upload, and click on "upload". 5) your upload will start, and when it has finished you will see a link to the stuff you have uploaded. Click on "save". 6) All you have to do, finally, is to copy that link, and paste it into a new message in our forum. Then every one will see your link there, and will click on it to hear your music instantly no problems.
I hope this is of some assistance.
