And we are sorry, but - rather in the way of the UC forum - it has at this early stage become necessary to set some explicit bounds to the type of music posted here in the "little-known composers" section.

Please would our valued members oblige by posting only composed - not improvised - works of art music in a serious style, written for symphony orchestra, chamber ensemble, the organ, or the operatic stage; as well as oratorios, cantatas, ballet music, Lieder, choruses, sonatas and the like.

Therefore no unwrought folk music please, no "pop singers" or "rock groups," and definitely no more "jazz." Thank you for your understanding.
