Yes,glorious stuff, indeed! Smiley What a wallow! And the big surprise when first listened to this cd (and the Herbstsymphonie is a rather big surprise!) was how well it all seems to hang together. Underneath all the extravagance there is a real feeling of symphonic growth. There's none of that feeling of,yes it's all very lovely to listen to,but is  it really going anywhere?! I can't help thinking it is a late romantic masterpiece. And what a fabulous performance and recording! The Piano concerto is another glorious wallow! Indeed, the mind boggles at the neglect of such a talent! And I musn't forget the Korngold! Another romantic masterpiece! (More korn than gold indeed!! Angry Roll Eyes)

Yes,who knows what treasure is out there?!! Imagine Holbrooke's Apollo and the Seaman in such glorious sound and in such a fine performance! It's just waiting to be recorded!!
