To launch their new Vivat record label, The King's Consort are releasing a disc of choral music by Parry and Stanford in February. By coincidence it includes Parry's 1911 Coronation Te Deum which Chandos included on their recent Jarvi disc, and the other Parry items are well-known enough. Of real interest, however, are Stanford's own orchestrations of four of his Magnificat and Nunc dimittis settings -

Thanks for that, John. I'll definitely look forward to hearing another interpretation of the Te Deum: a rare treat when dealing with lesser-heard composers, and the Stanford orchestrations sound very worth investigating.
