After reading yesterday's contribution from Kyjo, I now realize that many members - for various reasons - are no longer able to access the former Downloads section of the Unsung Composers forum. So, to remedy that situation, here is a RAR archive containing the complete former Downloads section as it stood on the twenty-seventh of August 2012.

Its contents are basic HTM files. They look a little different from the way they look on the forum itself, because there is no "style"; but the important information is all there: namely 1) the descriptions of the works, 2) the links to Mediafire etc., and 3) the authors of the posts.

The archive may be retrieved HERE.

It is organized in directories, and when extracting, you should "extract relative paths" and "set modification time."

I have not tested all the links to verify that they are still available at Mediafire!

Further information on request.

What a super job, Sydney :) :)

I was going to get a friend to make a similar snapshot of the site before it disappeared for "maintenance" but I was too late and it became no longer possible :(

This should obviate the need for those kind people having to repost items from that site. I was about to point out to MVS that all his British uploads could already be found in the British Music Archive which Albion transferred en masse :) :)

Oh, Sydney, I cannot express my thanks and gratitude for what you have done :) :) :)! I am not regretful anymore about not being a member at "the other forum" anymore, in fact, I'm quite glad that I'm not! The A-MF is truly a "home" for me :)!
