Nikolay Rakov was born in Kaluga (a city in Russia) in 1908. He gave us four symphonies:

Symphony No. 1 in D (1940)
Symphony No. 2 in F "Youth Symphony" (1957)
Symphony No. 3 in C "Little Symphony" for string orchestra (1962)
Symphony No. 4 (1973)

Here is his symphony no. 2 in F Major, "Youth" (1957)
