Charles Louis Eugčne Koechlin was born in Paris in 1867. He gave us two numbered symphonies:

Symphony no. 1, 1915
Symphony no. 2, 5 movts, 1944

as well as three string quartets:

String Quartet no. 1, 1913
String Quartet no. 2, 1915
String Quartet no. 3, 1921
