Jaroslav Doubrava was born in Chrudim (in Austria-Hungary, now in the Czech Republic) in 1909. He gave us three symphonies:

Symphony No. 1, "Choral" (1940)
Symphony No. 2, "Stalingrad" (1944)
Symphony No. 3, "Tragická"(1958)
