The links have been restored for Kalsons' Violin Concerto and Concerto Grosso. Two excellent works by a fine composer.

I have uploaded my post from UC of the Slonimsky Spring Concerto for convenience. Note that this is the complete concerto and not the fragment found on other sites.

First I download YouTube videos with Real Player in the highest quality. Real Player basic is free to everyone and you can download several videos at the same time. Then I use Pazera Free Audio Extractor to separate the music from the video. This is also a free download. You can convert the sound to wav, mp3, flac, ape, etc. Be careful running set up so you don't agree to install unwanted programs. Both programs do a great job and do not slow down your computer.

I owned the LP and that is all that was written on it.

I, for one, really appreciate your efforts. When I prepare liner notes or jewel box inserts I always like to include birth and death dates and the date of composition. Some uploaders are very good at supplying this information and others neglect it. Of course, I am thrilled just to get the music but a little more effort by the poster would make it so much better.
45  MEMBERS' CORNER / Members' wish lists & requests / Re: Howard Blake on: September 04, 2012, 04:00:24 pm
I have the Howard Blake Piano Concerto on CD. It was issued on his own record label HB-3. I bought 10 copies of it about 10 years ago and gave them to my best friends because the work was so beautiful it nearly brought me to tears. I have one sealed copy left. The contents are: Piano Concerto; Diversions for Cello and Orchestra; and Toccata (A Celebration of the Orchestra).
