Title: Watts Post by: Admin on March 03, 2023, 08:31:13 am George Frederick Watts was born in Marylebone in 1817. He showed tremendous artistic promise very early, and was enrolled as a student at the Royal Academy at the age of eighteen.
In 1905 Stanford dedicated the sixth of his seven grand symphonies to the memory of Watts's great sculptures and paintings.
