Title: Forum rules

As is the case in any forum, there are just a few essential rules:

1. No bad language or inflammatory discussion

2. No discussion of the personal characteristics or motives of fellow members

3. Members should attempt to keep to the subject of the thread in which they are posting

4. For the foreseeable future only posts about art-music or linguistics will be accepted in this forum. Posts about the forum or about its members will not be accepted.

5. If disparaging remarks about the moral character of any person (living or dead) are posted, a reference to some published authority should be cited as support and justification

6. No posting of dangerous or suspicious links (malware, adware, viruses, trojans, spam, etc.)

7. Of course nothing illegal

8. When posting a reply, please don't unnecessarily copy the whole of the post to which you are replying. Editing is a very simple and very necessary procedure.

9. When posting a reply, NEVER copy a picture that may be present in the post to which you are replying.

10. Please note that new members are expected to make at least three posts in their first two weeks.

11. The membership of people who have contributed nothing for six months will, after their having been given a reminder, be automatically cancelled.

12. Members may offer personally-owned musical items or collections for sale, to swap, or for free in the Members' Corner board, but this is not a venue for any other commerce.

Please log into the forum to examine our extensive list of composers from the United Kingdom.
