This is the old link from Unsung Composers. We had a discussion about the orchestra there and it came out that most probably, this is not the Leningrad Philharmonic as announced on the LP sleeve but the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra. I guess the info file which is part of the rar might still contain this error.

Both come from Melodiya LPs.

While No. 2 is a tuneful work near to the principles of Socialist Realism, No. 3 is far more philosophical and in my view probably the best piece by Juzeliūnas which I know.

I would seriously advise all members against downloading anything from the 'mediafire' site.  It's a screed of spam and viruses. Took me two days to clean my computer after making that mistake,  A pity, because this work sounded interesting.  But not interesting enough to infect my computer with malware.

Such a shame that uploading a (pretty good, IMO) opera results only in discussion of PC issues and not of the music itself.  That seems increasingly to be the way on this Forum. Just saying.
