How about this interesting Israeli composer, who composes in a tonal style and whose compositions contain elements of minimalism and Arabian modal influences and are inspired by Sephardic folklore:

He composed plenty of orchestral music and many of his pieces can be heard on CDs you can order through the music foundation listed at the top of the "Discography" page :).
