Eden Phillpotts was born in the hill station of Mount Abu (Rajasthan) in 1862, and educated at Mannamead School in Plymouth.
He gave us a great many books of various kinds, under both his own name and the pseudonym "Harrington Hext".
The present book, Saurus, has nineteen chapters.
