Great news that this project is still going ahead, despite the recent pandemic tribulations: Stanford's opera "Shamus O'Brien", Op.61 (1896) with the forces of Scottish National Opera conducted by no less than David Parry (a renowned conductor for the Opera Rara label). This is a really lovely work, fully deserving of a modern professional recording...
