Thanks for this - fascinating to hear Balfe not writing for the opera house! I have combined the music files and put this in the archive, alongside his attractive Concert Overture in C (c.1850).

Thanks Albion! Are those the only Balfe pieces we have? He seems to have been quite a prolific composer (I don't know him well at all). And - Irish or Scots? I have seen both cited!
