Sad news - Hugh Wood died last night.

I don't know his music but there are a couple of substantial works in the archive -

Symphony, Op.21 (1982)
BBC SO/ Gennady Rozhdestvensky (23/7/1982, br.25/7/1982)

Violin Concerto No.2, Op.50 (2003-04)
Anthony Marwood, violin/ BBC SO/ Andrew Davis (23/3/2012, br. Swedish Radio 28/5/2012)
