Parry’s oratorio Judith is due for release on CD on the Chandos label later this month.  However, it is available from Chandos to download now in digital lossless & mp3 format.  The Booklet is free to download.

Cannot wait for this - a big gap in the Parry discography is being filled at long last.

I have downloaded Judith in ALAC (Apple Lossless) format and have listened to it twice in full.  I have listened several times to Scene 2 (the children's section, before the sacrifice), which includes the well known tune to the words 'Long since in Egypt's plenteous land'.

As to be expected, the sound quality is excellent when compared to the Canadian performance on YouTube allowing for a better appreciation of Parry's oratorio.

Very excited about this. I love Job and it's something I frequently listen to (at least every couple of months or so, which is pretty frequent for me. I probably listen to it more than any other Parry work.
