I've recently decided to acquire this series of the CDs on the Hyperion label. I know other labels have issued similar series, but I am really fond of this series. Right now I am at CD #51. After 20+ years, this series is still going.

I enjoy especially the Russian composers.... I'm still going thru the series....may take a few months.... BTW I think the feature of this forum "show unread posts since last visit" does not work. Don' t know why... but looking at the history, I can't remember ever seeing these posts.

The Litolff stands out for me. But it is an epic voyage and well worth the investment. Usual superlative Hyperion sound quality.
