I so agree - for me, his greatest works are the Sonate de Requiem and the Piano Trio, conveniently paired on a Harmonia Mundi cd. For the real Greif enthusiast, like me, the 'must have' is the boxed set of 12 dvds entitled 'Les Incontournables - Olivier Greif' on Timpani 9F1216. This contains archive films, interviews, performances (some complete, some excerpts) and more. The more I listen to Greif's works, the more I think he is a great composer, but sadly little acknowledged in France. However, the Olivier Greif Ensemble in Holland is doing a lot to make his works better known in performance and recordings - see their website and examples on YouTube.
