Dutton, Capriccio, CPO have all rushed to record virtually the entire Braunfels orchestral music.
Excluding the cantatas which, requiring, as they obviously do, chorus and are therefore more expensive to record I reckon that only
"Hexensabbat" for piano and orchestra, op.8 (1906)
Suite in e minor for orchestra, op.48 (1933-36)
Hebrides Dance for piano and orchestra, op.70 (1950-51)
remain unrecorded.
.......and since Dutton has another cd ready for release soon.......... :)
