One of the most memorable, indeed emotionally shattering musical experiences I have had in recent years was a performance of Kullervo at the Edinburgh Festival with Edward Gardner conducting. For this reason I am looking forward with eager anticipation to hearing the work again live, this time in Glasgow with Thomas Dausgaard conducting the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra with the Lund University Male Voice Choir.

Should be a moving and gripping experience

Sounds terrific Colin. How exciting to see 'Kullervo' live. One of my favourite works by Sibelius.
