At last, some movement  on these studio performances! As they are promised for release on the EM label they shouldn't be recorded for download, but then again no release date has been forthcoming...(?)

Hi, Colin. I've been rather poorly  but  am back in reasonable shape! By the way, the 5th Symphony is not that by the avuncular Rob Cowan but the sadly neglected Frederic Hymen (sic) Cowen... ;D

Several future Dutton releases should be right up your street, John I wish I could say more but I am pledged to a promise of strict confidentiality

The extent of the funding for this project does not look too promising.  See: http://www.sherwood-cowen.com/donate.html

Whilst this is not a project I have been following, I think it has been on the go for a while.  Additionally, it looks as if those who contribute will have funds deducted immediately, unlike, say, Kickstarter which only deducts funds when a target has been reached and where there is a stated cut off time for the target to be reached.

In which case, please post off-air recordings of both the Sherwood and Cowen in the usual place  and I will archive them until a release is announced. MP3 (128 or 256) is preferable...
