Captains Courageous - The Franz Waxman Collection (4CD) - Intrada

An attractive CD with some memorable music. I am especially taken by the scores from the 1930s and 1940s which were considerably better than my initial impressions of them - based on seeing the films (with the exception of Hitchcock's Suspicion) once - and many years ago. My opinion of Waxman is enhanced.
