I see that BIS is releasing the Aho Concerto for Soprano Saxophone and chamber orchestra (2014-15) next month. It is coupled with Aho's Quintet for oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn and piano. The coupling is not ideal for someone who is not a fan of chamber music. I would have preferred one of the other thirteen concertos which Aho has wriiten but which have not yet made it onto disc:

Piano Concerto No.1 (1988-89)
Double Cello Concerto (2003) *
"Bells" for Saxophone Quartet and orchestra 2008) *
Trombone Concerto (2010; premiere March 2012) *
Trumpet Concerto (2011)
"Seidl"- Percussion Concerto (2011) *
Cello Concerto No.2 (2013)
Double Concerto for Cor Anglais and Harp (2014; premiere October 2016)
Timpani Concerto (2015; premiere April 2016)
Tenor Saxophone Concerto (2015; premiere March 2016)
Violin Concerto No.2 (2015; premiere November 2016)
Accordion Concerto (2015-16; premiere February 2017)
Double Bassoon Concerto (2016)

The problem for BIS is that Aho composes concertos faster than they can release them: five have been premiered during 2016-2017. Four of the earlier concertos are available in off-air recordings (*) but the Cello Concerto No.2 is an intriguing gap.

The Soprano Saxophone concerto isn't really for an orchestra. It is basically an ensemble piece rather than orchestral.  The scoring is:

wind quintet, harp, and twelve strings.

Agree, same as with Aho's symphonies. Wiki states there're 17 at the moment, and 3 for chamber orchestra, BIS has to hurry to keep up!
