Fibich was born at Všebořice, Bohemia, in 1850. His symphonic poem Vesna (Spring) was announced as opus 22, but the Grove Dictionary assigns it opus 13 and the year 1881. Does any one know?

The opus no. is indeed 13, see the releases listed in the Czech Virtual National Phonotheque: narodnifonoteka.cz and in the Czech Dictionary of Musicians and Institutions for reference. It was composed together with the symphonic poem The Tempest (Boure) and the cantata The Romance of Spring (Jarni romance) in 1880 to 1881 and premiered in 1881.
