I just tried to get rid of a lot of rare und uncommon classical LPs (Supraphon, Balkanton, Inedits, PAULA, Musica Dorica, Preiser,... - really serious stuff). I tried to sell 28 LPs for 39 Euros, which is less than 1,40 Euros per LP - and failed. So I dumped them all into the dust bin. There is really no market for that shit anymore. Sad...

Best,
Tobias

oh.. you might have had some serious buyers here... I know I just bought 6 LPs this week from eBay.   LPs are making a serious comeback... esp. with the invention of the new gummy cleaners that you can really clean your LPs with.

I see ads for specialist buyers who will take your whole collection.

I understand the frustration, I bought several LPs back in the day that were as much as $200 and they, too would be 50 cents a piece as well, so I gave almost all of them to the local archive of recorded sound, they probably threw them out, but I myself couldn't bring myself to put them in the trash! And then, CDs, remember when they were the glorious future? Now worth nothing, either, except to me of course. And if you can't afford an Ipad or similar what else lies in the future. As to LPs coming back, even my turntable is way out of date, oh well, don't have any money any more anyway!
