At last, Hyperion have got round to Cipriani Potter (1792-1871) in their Romantic Piano Concerto Series! Volume 72 will feature Howard Shelley in Potter's 2nd and 4th (the first not being extant) Concertos together with his Variations on a Theme of Rossini. Anybody who has explored Potter's Symphonies will be aware of the high quality of his music. Can't wait...

I am looking forward to this a lot, I still remember hearing my first Potter symphony and double checking his birth date because his music sounded so much more advanced than his time (like Berwald, btw). Excellent stuff.
