Please forgive me if I appear grumpily didactic but I have noticed in recent months that some members are using the Composer Catalogues threads to make comments or observations about that composer's music. As the author of many of these catalogues I am often led there by a new post in the expectation or presumption that there is some addition or correction to the catalogue.

Would it not be preferable to have these comments made in the other sections of the forum rather than in a section which was intended to be and is therefore headed "Composer Reference"?
