Does anyone know anything about a composer called Bongiovanni?  First name? Dates?

I have bought a Russian LP with various songs and arias on it sung by Georgian tenor David Badridze (the Georgian ones I have just uploaded here).

One of the songs is listed as "Genatsvale" by one Bongiovanni. No other info is given.  About the song, it says that its Neapolitan.

That's it...  Бонджованни. Генацвале (Неаполитанская песня с груз, текстом И. Гришашвили)

Thanks Toby!

Looks like it might be this guy - Francesco Buongiovanni (1872-1940).

I wonder if that's Neapolitan dialect spelling?  The only wikipedia page about him is in Neapolitan dialect - http://nap.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francesco_Buongiovanni

And more info and a photo here - http://www.geni.com/people/Francesco-Buongiovanni/4072545528230031167
