Frits Celis  (b 1929)  - Elegie, op 7  (1966)

The Elegy was Celis's first composition for a symphonic orchestra. It was written with the death of a female relative , who died tragically, in mind.
The first performance took place in december 1967 and was played by the same orchestra you can listen to here.
Elegy was also produced on stage as a ballet.
