He was born in Namur, where he started his musical training. Later he went to Brussels and Liège to study with Paul Gilson and Sylvain Dupuis. He won the Prix de Rome for his 'Legend of Béatrice'. He was in earlier years teacher at Conservatoire Royale de Liège and later he taught at Conservatory in Brussels.
He composed in almost every style of music, a.o. a radiophonic work 'The Death of Prometheus' and even an Operette (La Sultane de Paris)

The Oratorio was finished in 1938, first performed in Namur and later, during the World Exhibition from 1958, played for the second time.
The Suite he created from it has following parts: 1. Victory music and Danse; 2. Tumultuous after the confusion of the languages; 3. Complaints of Nimrod; 4. (finale) a Song of Hope and Believe.

I would I had the chance to once listening it in full. Well, you never know.
