I know that there is a separate thread for the James Stuart Channel on YT but I have posted this thread because of what are, I believe, two absolutely fantastic additions.

There are some of Joubert's compositions both on cd and available for download but Joubert has written a total of thirteen very substantial choral works in the form of Choral Symphonies, Oratorios and Cantatas-none of which has been available.

No longer :) James Stuart has uploaded broadcasts of the Oratorio "The Raising of Lazarus" (1970) and the Choral Symphony "Gong-Tormented Sea" (1981). .

These are undoubtedly major additions to the great corpus of British Choral Music-I know Joubert was born in South Africa ;D Anyone in tune with that tradition and who has been impressed by Joubert as a composer should not miss these important works!
