There is another channel with a selection of Bruk's symphonies - it's called Robert Gross. I can find very little information about Bruk; he seems to be a Ukranian now living in Finland, and his count of symphonies is up to at least 13.

Bruk has a taste for large canvasses - his third symphony lasts over an hour.

All his symphonies (1-16), all written within the last 20 years are now on youtube. Some works have now been uploaded by the composer, and he's even replied to a post on his Symphony No.2! From the several I've heard, the recordings are excellent, orchestration good, but I'm finding them difficult to follow on first (and in some cases second)hearing, especially as the music is very episodic and over long spans, but some members may have no such problems. If you like a challenge, this may be for you! His two earlier (1983,87) string quartets are very good and to me, again at first hearing, better suited to his style.

In the bio on his site, maestro Bruk also mentions 17 symphony. No. 17 is not available for download (so far)
Just like CJV I didn't know the composers site. So I'm very pleased to know it now.

I think the two string quartets are quite different from the symphonies. But both are very
