Hi everyone, Does anyone have any info on this composer?I think the spelling is right.I seem to remember his name on a now defunct music site,but not even google mentions him-Regards :)

Hi,
I assume you refer to the Tatar composer Shamil Timerbulatov (1950–2013), so it should be a misspelling after all. Among his works are five symphonies. I remember he used to have an own website, but it seems to be defunct now, possibly given up after his death three years ago.

In Cyrillic his surname is indeed Тимербулатов (Timerbulatov), which ought to be the "correct" spelling in English. There is a Russian-language Wikipedia page for him, but no equivalent page in English :(( However, online translation tools should render a semi-acceptable version of the information there? https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Тимербулатов,_Шамиль_Харисович
