Actually I forgot to mention that the whole of the prelude to Part II is missing, which makes nonsense of the baritone's opening words:"You know, my friends, with what a brave Carouse..." since the audience has heard no "Carouse"!

Having listened yesterday with a score to the Chandos/Handley recording, I realize that probably 15 minutes + were cut altogether, so, having just ordered my Lyrita copy from Dutton, I can't wait to hear the work complete again.
