I see that there is a recording of the Cooke Cello Concerto in the archive as rar.
Can anyone one be so kind as to convert this to mp3 for me?  rar is unusable for me.
Also, does anyone know the cellist in that recording?
Thank you all so much, Brian

Thomas Igloi with the BBC Symphony Orchestra/Sir Charles Groves.

I shall upload and post links.

Dear Dundonell, these are now mp?  wma?  It just doesn't work if it's not mp3.

My wife has spent the last hour trying to download these links and we cannot use or convert them.
Can  anyone supply mp3  links?

The three files are .wma format = Windows Media Audio.

There is a simple converter programme which will convert the three files to mp3. It is http://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-mp3

If you still cannot manage then I could download the converter programme myself and do it for you.

I have converted them.  Now, it appears that all three downloads are the same movement (time:5:12).  I see it's a 25 minute work.

The links take you to three files each containing the three separate movements.

Each of the three downloads comes out at 5:12 and just has a female announcer telling about the concert.  I just too stupid to understand I'm afraid.  Thank you anyway for all your kindness and patience.

Try this:

http://www.mediafire.com/listen/70c51n5n81hp57x/Cooke_-_Cello_Concerto.mp3

All three movements in a single mp3 file, audience noise and announcer removed. Nothing to be done about the rather boomy sound quality, though, or at least, not by me.
