Besides the Fricker, also scheduled for February are Arnold Cooke's 4th and 5th Symphonies!

Strange, the CD seems to be presented in mono sound.

What I wrote yesterday about the Fricker release applies in equal measure to the Cooke :)

Heavens.....two Cooke symphonies, the two Chagrin symphonies and a Fricker symphony and oratorio! 2016 will be starting with a real bang ;D

Well these recordings are from the Richard Itter Broadcast Collection-so, presumably, it is something to do with Itter's original recording of the works. But I am no technical expert ;D
